  1. Strand is the real master of eye travel. He understood photography in a way that was not understood by his contemporaries. Example: See her V in the collar….then see the implied mirror copy in her hair. The cheeks and lips repeat again and then when the eye is intoxicated it travels to the hat and sees the same shape.

    I was lucky to be able to view and hold the original prints at the museum and of course have the Master, Ding McNulty to teach me. Strand is Thee photographer for photographers. Don
